Beginning calligraphy

Come learn the art of calligraphy from Karen Jewell, an experienced teacher
& designer of the Michael Jackson Memorial Invitation
In this 3 hour class, you will learn the proper
techniques of Beginning Calligraphy.
You’ll learn how to correctly hold your calligraphy pen to
create the professional thick & thin strokes we love. You’ll learn both
Upper and lower case alphabet and numbers.
Using Karen’s uniquely designed practice sheets, you learn letter uniformity, word connection, continuity & flow, which is paramount to learning many calligraphy styles. You will put your new skills to work by learning how to address an envelope.
Each student will receive a complete calligraphy kit with
pen, instruction guides, practice sheets, envelope templates and beautiful
Letter style Samples, all you’ll need to start you on your calligraphy journey.
Registration is limited to 12 students, allowing plenty of one on one instruction with Karen. You don’t have to bring anything. We welcome and have taught
hundreds of left handed students.
